Job Title: Rector

Description: Part-time Rector

Location:  St. John's Anglican Church, Salt Lake City, Utah

Application deadline: April 5, 2017

St. John’s Anglican Church, Salt Lake City, Utah, is seeking a part-time Rector. The ideal candidate will be a firm, yet compassionate shepherd who manifests qualities consistent with Christ and His teachings.

We need a leader and Priest who is grounded in the Anglican Faith and believes in the Bible as God’s Word; who will not affirm us as we are but will challenge us to be better and inspire us to strive to make every moment of the week part of our sacrifice of praise and a continuation of the liturgy we celebrate on Sunday.

We are looking for the person that God has called to be our Rector and who knows in his heart that Jesus is his Lord and that St. John’s is where he is called to serve. Our new Rector should know the Holy Spirit and is led by Him through a strong prayer life and is able to discern God’s plan for St. John’s and lead us into that vision; someone who is able to present inspired Bible-based sermons and to encourage others to use their spiritual gifts.

We are looking for a church builder who will not only increase our numbers but also deepen our faith. We seek a Priest who is active in the secular community but who does not conform to it.

We want to follow a leader who follows the Lord.

Please see the Congregation Profile on our website. If you are qualified and interested in serving, please use this form to submit your application. We look forward to hearing from you!
